Massage Therapy has been practiced for thousands of years in many cultures as a holistic approach to pain and stress relief.

Overview

Massage is a type of manual therapy used to manipulate the soft tissues (muscle and connective tissue) of the body to relieve pain, reduce stress, and improve overall well-being. Different types of massage including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage, each have their own unique techniques with varying degrees of pressure. Depending on your condition and symptoms, the use of cupping or muscle scraping tools may be added.

NOTE: Our motorized massage table is ADA compliant, allowing those individuals in
wheelchairs access to the benefits of massage.

AquaMassage is a therapeutic technique involving the use of water and pressurized jets to massage the body. Unlike traditional massage, AquaMassage does not require hands-on or bare skin contact and is performed fully clothed. This hydrotherapy involves laying in a specialized bed equipped with fully customizable, computerized jets that deliver warm, pulsing water to the body through a waterproof membrane. The benefits of AquaMassage are the same as traditional massage, however sessions are much shorter, requiring only 15 minutes.

Benefits of massage and AquaMassage therapy:

  • Reduces stress
  • Releases muscle tension
  • Improves circulation
  • Promotes relaxation
  • Decreases pain and stiffness
  • Speeds up healing and injury recovery
  • Stimulates the lymphatic system, improving immune health
